Just like the senior BBQ, GYL holds a New Year party for seniors every year. We feel it is important to respect our seniors for taking care of the younger generations and bestowing us with their words of wisdom. This party provides the seniors with food and entertainment which spans from musical performances all the way to magic acts all performed by the students.

As the chairman of the Toronto Zoo, Dr. Raymond Cho invited the GYL students to attend an overnight zoo camp to fully experience what the Toronto Zoo has to offer. The students were able to call out to the wolves during the night and able to get a thorough tour of the zoo.
